Another Museum, the NS-Documentation Center of the City of Cologne, may be interesting to visit for those of you interested in the history of the “Third Reich”. It is located in the former headquarters of the Cologne Gestapo (secret police) which is also only about 10 walking minutes from Cologne Main Station (if you are interested in Nazi Germany/WWII-history you may also want to take a look at our History Rail Tour “Fascination and Terror –Rise and Fall of the Third Reich”). We just completed the 19 day Imperial Cities. We were able to customize this tour and added a city or two and a few days. Right from the beginning inquiry to end of tour this has been an amazing company. to work with. Completely professional. Doesn't get any better. Itinerary was very comprehensive and included all we needed to enjoy our train trip. Would definitely work with them again. We had a small hiccup with taxi at the very beginning and it was corrected within an hour after our arrival in Paris. It was no fault of Thomas and staff. We have travelled extensively and this was the best group we have ever worked with.
The cities included in this tour were wonderful. I can't say which I like the best because they were are all amazing. We had an abundance of new experiences.
From first inquiry to completion of my holiday everything went smoothly.
All queries with the company were answered quickly and professionally. The itinerary was the comprehensive and included walking directions to hotels from railway stations, suggest free walking tours, vouchers for transport and tours in certain cities. They even included a step by step print out on how to get my railway tickets out of the ticket machines.
There efforts enable my wife and I to have a relaxed, enjoyable holiday as everything had been taken care off.
Most of my communications was with Michaela and she did a fantastic job.
I highly recommended this tour company and will use them again on my next European holiday.
