What you can expect

We design Rail, Coach and Self-drive tours for independent travelers – which allow you to travel your way. We partner with nice and well rated and centrally located hotels and identify the highlights which we include into our vacation package: our partners are tourist organizations, providers of city tours, escorted day excursions, city cards, admission deals so we can provide a tour package which does not let you alone in deciding what to do and what to see. But we provide more than that.

Our service starts way before you go on tour
We are here to help you with any adjustment needs you may have. For example, if you need something to be added to your tour package or you need to shorten it so it fits into your time frame or you arrive and/or depart at a different airport. We can combine tours for you and also add parts of one tour to another tour if you would like to have some destinations/sights added.

Your Tour Package – review in advance
Way before your vacation starts you will receive your tour package which includes general information about your tour, specific information (like timetables and directions) as well as the vouchers for the services we provide. This is an example of what your tour package includes:

Tour Information Sheets (please see the explanation below)
Accommodation vouchers
Rail- and/or Coach tickets or your Voucher for your rental car
Timetables (for Rail- and Coach tours)
Seat reservations (for your Rail- and Coach tours – if included)
Walking directions to your hotels (except for Self-drive tours where you have the GPS information)
Vouchers for admissions to sights (if included)
Vouchers for your day- and city-tours (if included)

With all of that information in your hand, you have time to review all documents in advance while you are still home and you may contact us for any questions you may have before you start your vacation. You are not an anonymous booking engine. We will instead have a Europe Travel Expert available for you who will answer all your questions.

Our service during your tour
We can only be happy if you are happy with your tour. However, circumstances out of our control can happen and you need to ask for immediate action. One of the most important services we provide is staff availability in Europe. You will have a phone number you may call in case you need assistance! We are there to help.

If you have a medical issue, have forgotten something at a hotel or have a question concerning your tour – we are here to help. In the past this proved to be very helpful in many cases such as flight delays, flight cancellations or a re-routing, hazardous weather conditions, rail strikes, car accidents and more.

Why can we offer these services for free?
We love what we do and our most important reward is Emails, phone calls, Facebook posts, etc. from our guests when they are back home, telling us that they had a great tour. Of course we have to get paid for the services we provide so we can pay our bills. And the good news for you is: you are not the ones paying us! And the reason is simple: we do have partnership with providers and we bring them a large number of travelers. This is very beneficial for or the providers of course so we receive a commission. So we get paid by the provider rather than by you!

Compare our tour prices
On all of our tour pages, you will find a detailed list of what is included in the price of your tour package. Please compare these services, the same hotels, tours, admission, etc. You will find that our tour prices are very sharply priced and that the additional service we provide is at no extra cost to you. There are even more benefits you may not be aware of. If you compare prices of our rail tours, for example, you will notice that we do not use any rail passes. For most of our tours, we are using tickets which are not available to the public. They are special tour operator rail tickets for providers of rail tours and used in packaged tours only. A big benefit for our 1st-class travelers, for example, is that our tickets are not only flexible but also allow our guests to visit the 1st-class lounges at major rail stations at no extra cost. In these lounges, complimentary hot and cold beverages are served, in some lounges even alcoholic beverages and snacks. Passengers using a rail pass, even if it is a 1st-clas pass, are not entitled to use those lounges.
